Background of The HR Chally Group
SSS Consulting, Inc. d.b.a. The HR Chally Group is a corporation registered under Ohio law. SSS Consulting, Inc. was founded in 1973 and funded by a grant from the United States Justice Department. This project developed an actuarially based selection test for Law Enforcement Officers. This research developed practical validation technology to identify paper and pencil test items that accurately predicted future work effectiveness. In 1978, The HR Chally Group, Inc. was incorporated as a subsidiary to focus on nationally marketing the parent’s assessment and selection services for salespeople and managers. As Chally expanded the technology of measuring and predicting employee and business performance, its client base grew. In 1984 The HR Chally Group, Inc. was merged with SSS Consulting, Inc. and registered as a Trademark. Today Chally serves over 2,000 customers. Selection testing services are offered in at least 12 languages, and sales and management research activities are provided globally.
Chally dedicates nearly 15% of its budget to comprehensive but practical research in sales, sales management, and management development, and maintains the leading database of sales benchmarking information. To maintain and advance its core technologies, Chally has developed a sophisticated expert system to objectively evaluate sales candidates and predict customers' purchase decisions.
To market its services, Chally relies almost entirely on providing state-of-the-art research information to generate leads from customers interested in improving profitability through improved sales and management strategies. Chally also develops and markets practical tools to select key employees, measure market and competitive position and develop high performing salespeople and managers.
