Congratulations!
Reynolds and Reynolds, Midmark, Hibernia National Bank
Recently, a VP of Sales invited us to attend an award ceremony for a national award his company had received. We were most pleased because we are frequently asked for suggestions and examples of excellence for other customers to emulate. We also want to add our recognition of the accomplishment by way of making these examples visible as a potential resource for our customers and friends.
Starting with this issue, we'll recognize the achievements of our customers. If your company has received an award or has newsworthy information, please feel free to notify us by using the form below. This will allow us to share the good news with others in future issues.

Reynolds and Reynolds
We congratulate Reynolds and Reynolds on being chosen to receive a 2002 Strategic Account Management Association (SAMA) Performance Award"! at SAMA's annual conference in Orlando. Reynolds and Reynolds won the Account Performance award for its success with the Southeast Toyota Distributors (SET) account.
"Most companies today have developed a strategic account program to support the business requirements of their most strategic customers," said Lisa Napolitano, SAMA's President and CEO. "The difference in the quality of these programs varies based upon a firm's ability to fulfill its customers' expectations."
The Reynolds and Reynolds Enterprise Solutions Group is the company's Strategic Account Management Group, managing Reynolds' largest accounts. Reynolds developed a dedicated Southeast Toyota Account (SET) Team to deliver services and solutions that meet the business requirements of SET and its 163 Toyota dealers. The partnership with Southeast Toyota Distributors, LLC, began in 1997 and has grown significantly.
With over 2,200 members, SAMA is an international non-profit organization that focuses on the professional development of executives charged with managing strategic customer relationships.
Hats off to Midmark, chosen as a winner of the 2002 Manufacturer Excellence in Service Award (MESA) by The Health Industry Distributors Association (HIDA). The MESA recognizes and honors medical/surgical products manufacturers that support distributor efforts to provide the highest levels of service to customers and to remove costs from the supply chain.
The MESA program, which began in 1995, is part of the HIDA Advisory Councils' focus on improving service between manufacturers and distributors to a level that parallels the service levels required by customers. HIDA member distributors in the hospital, long term care, and physician markets were asked to nominate top manufacturers with the highest service levels based fill rates, lead times, shipment accuracy, financial terms, bar coding, EDI, rebate/contract processing, and responsiveness.
Midmark is a first-time winner in the physician market. The company was selected based on its superior sales support, its commitment to the distribution market, its excellent lead time predictability, and its outstanding customer service.
''This is a great honor, but one that really should go to our sales and customer service staff,'' said Dick Moorman, Midmark Vice President of Medical Products Sales. ''This was a real team effort.''
Chally honors the efforts of Hibernia National Bank, Louisiana's leading mortgage lender. It has launched a low-cost, flexible mortgage program to help school teachers, firefighters and police officers purchase homes easily and affordably in Louisiana and east Texas.
The teacher and public-safety worker mortgages include flexible credit requirements and a low down payment of $500 or 1% of the purchase price of the home, whichever is less. There is also no income limitation for these workers and their families. Any public-school teacher or employee who is state-certified, or in the process of being certified, and employed full-time in Louisiana at the elementary or secondary levels (kindergarten through 12th grade) is eligible for the program. This includes principals, vice principals, librarians and others with teaching certification.
"These professionals are critical to our daily lives and future,'' said Paul Peters, president of Hibernia Mortgage Banking, a division Hibernia National Bank. "We want to encourage them to remain in our communities and recognize them for their contributions.''
