The types of Reports and Output for Leadership Development

By using Chally for development, results can be run for single individuals for a specific role. This can contain a hiring recommendation, skill scores, coaching tips and motivators.

Chally also has created a report called "The Best Match" which compares a single individual against multiple common management or sales roles. Often early in a career, people do not know where they would best play in future roles within the organization. Chally's Best Match helps identify the roles in which individuals would have the greatest potential for success. It contains skill scores, coaching tips, and individual motivators.

Chally's Talent Audit presents results from multiple individuals across multiple roles and allows the organization to identify those who could move to different roles. It can also help redeploy players within an organization in instances such as reorganization and mergers. Further, a Talent Audit can help focus training dollars by specifically identifying those skill strengths among the entire team or areas where the team would need development in order to be more successful.

Chally also has results and reports on more specific, stylistic components; reports that focus on individual strengths and motivators. The Personal Assessment Results, or PAR, provides in-depth results on motivators and work habits. The Predictive Strengths Indicator, or PSI, provides information on an individual's top 10 strengths across a number of common management or sales skills.

Chally's Career Development Reports

The Best Match report compares an individual's results with several roles and identifies the best match for that person across those roles. The report can include positions in sales, management, or the executive level, as well as provide early information on where an individual would best be able to contribute in the future. The Best Match report can also assist in employee deployment when there is a need to move a person from one organizational role to another. The Best Match Report gives tips on how to more effectively manage people and retain their skills within the organization.

The Personal Assessment Results, or PAR, report provides specific information on an individual's motivators and relevant work habits including a Motivation Analysis Profile, or MAP, of the motivations most likely to influence a candidate's behavior. If you can identify others' motivators, you can better manage them, encourage them and reward them in order to keep them performing at their optimum level. The PAR also gives a Self Descriptive Index, or SDI, of 12 different work habits that are most frequently applicable to a work situation.

For "high potential" development, sometimes a specific role report is necessary. For instance, if you know that a group of high-potentials is looking to move into Sales Force Management, you will want their assessment results to reflect the probability of success in that role by requesting Chally Developmental Reports. These reports assess candidates in relation to the requirements of a specific position as well as specify their suitability for the position and any developmental needs that should be addressed. This is a very powerful tool that allows high-potentials to own their own leadership development by identifying their areas of strength or capacity, which they need to fill with capability and experience. Also, it identifies those areas with low scores that may be potential career derailers and gives them an opportunity to create workarounds or other methods and techniques so they don't derail in a future role.
