Chally/SAMA Strategic Account Management Research

In 1996, SAMA launched a groundbreaking benchmarking project in cooperation with the HR Chally Group to establish the first ever Benchmarking Consortium for World Class National/Global Account Management.

The Chally Group is widely heralded for their "World Class Sales Excellence Award Research" begun in 1995.

These reports form the basis of an ongoing study which monitors company practices and their impact on performance over a period of at least 3-5 years.

Through the participation of the inaugural Benchmark Partner Companies, we have begun to identify and measure the critical success factors of world class customer-supplied partnering. Our goal is to increase the Consortium to a group of 50 companies that represent a diverse pool of industries, size, and maturity.
